MRI NECK
PROTOCOL
Multiplanar and multi-echo MRI of the neck was performed without administration of intravenous contrast.
FINDINGS
Nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal air spaces are normal and in midline.
Epiglottis is normal in thickness and in midline. Bilateral valleculae are normal.
Bilateral ary-epiglottic folds are normal in thickness and signal intensity.
Bilateral pyriform fossae are normal.
Tracheal and pharyngo-laryngeal cartilage reveal normal signal intensity.
Bilateral carotid vasculature is normal in course and caliber.
Thyroid gland is normal in size and parenchymal signal intensity.
Few subcentimeteric sized cervical lymphnodes are seen bilaterally.
Suggested clinical correlation.
